The roots for the desire to become a famous singer come from the early childhood of Oceana- being a little girl, she was already keen into listening to the best vibes of reggae and soul music: Oceana was a great admirer of James Brown and Bob Marley.
It’s hard not to mention a very interesting fact that Oceana was raised in a family, closely related to music, as her father was a DJ from Martinique.
The path for a little girl who wanted to become a singer was determined: it was jazz and soul, and by all means, a great passion to dancing and choreography.
Being a teenage girl, Oceana was dealing professionally with dancing and choreography: Oceana has performed a role of Aida in the musical, produced by the famous Tim Rice and Elton John, as well as being a vocal lead singer in the musical version of Dirty Dancing (produced by Eleanor Bergstein).
In 2006 Oceana performed a role of the choreographer for the famous German band ‘’Seeed’’.
Oceana’s great solo career started from 2008, when the artist has signed to Warner Music.
In 2009 Oceana releases her major hit ‘’Cry Cry’’ from her debut album ‘’Love Supply’’ – the release of the single was a great breakthrough of her solo career, as the track peaked all of the top charts all over the world.
Oceana started to join many famous European TV projects, such as Dancing with the Stars in Poland, Arte Lounge, Greek X Factor etc.
She has shared one stage with the world famous colleague artists, such as Lionel Richie, Annie Lennox, Raphael Saadiq.
One of the most important highlights of Oceana’s career is by all means joining writing a song for one of the biggest sports events in the world - 2012 UEFA.
The song’s name is ‘’Endless Summer’’ and from that very moment, it has been worldwide known as the anthem for UEFA.
Oceana has also performed this song live on July the 1-st, 2012 at the official closing ceremony of UEFA European Football Championship, for the audience of one billion people.
The music video of the song ‘’Endless Summer’’ has more than 80 million views, and the hit has gained gold and platinum statuses around Europe.
The second solo album ‘’My House’’ was released on July 22, 2012.
Oceana’s third studio album ‘’Can’t Stop Thinking About You’’ was released in 2018.
